Settle Into Europe, One Beautiful Place at a Time

Boutique small-group tours designed around the art of staying awhile.

One beautiful home base.

A deeper way to experience Europe.

Hub & Spoke Tours creates immersive small-group European tours for travelers who want to feel the soul of a place, not simply see the sights.

Our signature hub-and-spoke style is designed around the art of staying awhile. You unpack once, settle into one carefully chosen home base, and explore outward each day through villages, vineyards, coastlines, cities, markets, historic homes, artisan workshops, and unforgettable meals. Over the course of the week, the streets become familiar, the local rhythms begin to feel like your own, and Europe opens in a way that feels more personal — almost as if you’ve become a temporary local.

Our thoughtfully curated itineraries bring you to some of Europe’s most captivating destinations, including the vineyard hills of Tuscany, the luminous villages and markets of Provence, the fairytale corners of France and Germany, the soaring beauty of the Swiss Alps, the lakeside elegance of Lake Geneva, the sea-and-volcano drama of Sicily, the wild beauty of Southwest Ireland, and unforgettable city experiences in Rome, Paris, Dublin, and Venice.

Along the way, we move beyond the ordinary itinerary with meaningful encounters, beautiful settings, memorable meals, artisan visits, private homes, local traditions, and real-life stories that stay with you long after you return home.

These are boutique European journeys shaped by beauty, ease, connection, and the rare pleasure of having one extraordinary place to call home.

The Hub & Spoke Difference

Our journeys are designed with a level of care you can feel from the moment you arrive. Every tour is shaped by four signature principles — the thoughtful choices that create our beautifully paced, deeply rooted, small-group travel experiences. Together, they are what make Hub & Spoke feel different from the very first day.

#1 Hub and Spoke

Does the thought of packing and unpacking your suitcases time and again wear you out before your trip has even begun? Us too! So we embrace a hub and spoke, slow travel methodology. With us, you will immerse yourself fully in the country & culture by basing yourself in one location and taking meaningful day trips from there.

#2 Small Groups

Groups of 6 to 15 like-minded travelers allow us to explore destinations that are off-limits to larger tour groups. It also builds friendships that last forever!

#3 Authentic Connections

We meet, talk, and dine with genuine locals, sometimes in their own homes, and discover what life and culture are like in the country we are visiting.

#4 Tested Experiences

We visit and hand-select every single one of our accommodations, expert guides, restaurants, and locations ourselves, in-person, ensuring that you have the best experience possible.

It All Started With a Map

Hub & Spoke, LLC began with founder Melissa Noonan and a lifelong instinct for creating journeys with heart.

Long before there was a company, there was a third-grade girl studying the maps pinned to her bedroom wall, paging through travel guidebooks, and planning her first “official” tour: Charleston, South Carolina, with her grandmother, mother, and sister as the inaugural guests. It was the beginning of a love affair with travel — not just the going, but the dreaming, designing, and thoughtful arranging that make a trip feel unforgettable.

Over the years, Melissa’s path kept circling back to travel. She coordinated high school church choir tours, studied abroad at the University of Siena, and soon found herself doing what she had always done best: turning free weekends into beautifully planned Italian escapes for her fellow students. Later, she led university alumni groups overseas and homeschooled her children while living and learning abroad. Along the way, she became drawn to a slower, more immersive way of seeing the world: choosing one beautiful home base, settling in, and exploring outward from there.

That hub-and-spoke approach changed everything. Instead of skimming the surface, Melissa found herself returning to the same cafés, meeting local shopkeepers, recognizing faces in the village square, and understanding a destination in a more personal, layered way. The experience felt richer, more rooted, and far more meaningful than the typical pack-and-move itinerary.

After years of sharing this style of travel with friends and family, Melissa created Hub & Spoke to bring that same sense of belonging, beauty, and cultural immersion to a wider circle of travelers.

Melissa holds an undergraduate degree from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, where Milton Reigelman’s Humanities class sparked her enduring love of Dante, Tuscany, and the art of seeing the world through culture. She also holds a Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. She is a member of the Texas Bar and a licensed Texas real estate broker.
